| Season's Greetings to You All and a Merry Christmas! | |||||||
I think that I am back at the top of my game. I am staying on top of my newsletters a little better now. For those of you that are reading and visiting the site regularly you will be discovering a lot of new things going on in the studio. For those of you that are avid collectors or perhaps you are becoming that way you will find that there will be many new projects in both the Coast Guard and US Air Force genre that will result in new prints and collectibles. Currently we have some pieces on the easel for the end of the year and have to be done before Christmas but the new year will hold more Coast Guard and Air Force paintings. Coast Guard pieces that are on the docket for 2008 are "Surfmen", "Not Tonight' the Creole Belle" and more. Some of these projects will be on display at the FMFA Coast Guard Art Exhibit in 2008 at the Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven, Michigan. If you have noticed that many of the prints that have been released by FlightDeck Publications have been rolled out in a size that is far more collectible than the average military collectible print these days. As a result of the popularity of these items FlightDeck is pleased to announce this month four popular images are being offered in a new collector's edition. "From the Clutches of Lake Michigan Mini-Collector", "Dad's Dream Mini-Collector", "Scramble Mini-Collector" and "Rough Seas Mini-Collector". All are being introduced in a mini-print collector's size. All of these mini-prints are open editions and are shipping right now.

We have been adding a few new features to our website and we would like to invite you to visit them at you leisure to see the stories behind some of the projects we talk about in this newsletter. The Center Ring is located at the home page of Bryan Snuffer at BryanSnuffer.com. One of the exciting new stories that is coming from the studio is the one about early Coast Guard Life Saving. Bryan will take us back in time with a new image that will go back to around 1915 and visit one of the stations the dotted the shores of Cape Cod. LSS Nauset was one of the original nine newly established life saving stations along Cape Cod. A nostalgic is being created right now by the studio that will present some of the exciting history behind the earlier years of the US Coast Guard. We can't wait to show you more but for now you can review some of this history right Bryan's site at Bryan Snuffer.com.

On the Home Front!
The kids are learning all about World War I in school right now. I know that there is much to know and learn about on this subject but they are having a great time. Both of the older boys share in unit studies when it comes to projects like this one and it is always exciting to hear what they have learned. When we ask about the subject much later on they can always expound on the subjects. I am very proud of them and the work that they are accomplishing right now even in school. n January we will be heading to Orlando, Florida with the kids to stay at Disney for ten days. We will be joining some good friends there. I would like everyone to know that during that time period we will still be able to acknowledge orders sent to the studio but will be unable to fill them for just a few days. It will just add a few days to the shipping time. Thank you very much for your patronage and support. Bryanh
